Job Description:
This position with work closely with the VP / Business Development to research, contact and acquire new team sponsors. The position will include--but is not limited to--the following roles and responsibilities:
--Prospecting and contacting potential sponsors in order to obtain a meeting for senior staff
--Researching business trends, industries and growing companies
--Assisting in the preparation of sales materials as needed
--Attending sales calls, trade shows or other events as needed
--Preparation of a weekly call report for presentation to senior management
--Assisting with sponsor services, branding and communications tasks as necessary
Requirements:
--Ideal candidate will be an outgoing, self-motivated individual that can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and highly-entrepreneurial environment. Candidate must possess ability to focus, day-in and day-out, on the prospecting of new sponsors.
--Ability to travel 15-20 weekends per year
--Bachelor's degree or greater (Marketing or business administration majors preferred)
