Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to utilize Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0), SharePoint Designer 2007 and various other Microsoft technologies.
Manage and troubleshoot with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.
An expert with data, the architect will also have Database Administration duties as needed
Responsible to create detailed technical documentation
As part of a team, troubleshoot application issues
Propose creative ways to utilize technology and with business opportunities keeping in mind resource and budgetary constraints. Question current practices in order to promote innovative solutions.
Recommend creative, as well as implement, good internal work processes
Ideal Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years experience in Microsoft.NET development with minimum of 3 years of SharePoint technical lead and architecture experience on enterprise initiatives.
Experience with ASP.NET 2.0/3.0, C#, XML, IIS, BizTalk Server, SQL Server 2005, 2008.
Experienced with full software development life cycle (SDLC) is highly preferred
Understanding of RUP implementation diagrams and UML preferred
Advanced knowledge of business workflows and have an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and SharePoint Designer 2007.
In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search
Experience with Microsoft Forefront Security for SharePoint and application security centered around the SharePoint document library is highly preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office InfoPath Forms Services, SharePoint Templates and Community Kit for SharePoint.
3 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and Database Administration.
Microsoft CRM 4.0 application management experience.
Experienced both in creating technical and end-user documentation
Works well in a team environment
Extensive project management experience.
Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related experience.
MOSS, MCDBA and/or MCMCSD certification preferred.
PMBOK certification preferred.
