What will be the biggest challenge in your new position?
Trying to leverage some of the biggest brands in college athletics. At CBS, we were only marketing one brand, but here at XOS, we have so many different brands, to try and play to the strengths of each … will be a challenge but also exciting.

What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
Taking my current position after nine years with CBS SportsLine. Although this was a big risk, it has the potential to be very rewarding.

What is your biggest professional accomplishment?
Getting to where I am today. Being able to start on the ground floor with XOS and build something great with the company is something I am really proud of.

What is your biggest professional disappointment?
I don’t think that I have had a great disappointment in my career yet. I have taken some risks and tried things in my career that did not work out and I have been disappointed in those outcomes, but success is about taking risks.

What career advice do you have for people wanting into this industry?
Find something about it that you love and do it. It is a great feeling being able to wake up and love coming to work everyday.

What is one story you are continuing to watch in sports today?
The new methods in which sports are delivered to consumers. Now you have everything from wireless access to broadband access, so scores and highlights are available anywhere and anytime.

What is one element that you would like to change about the sports industry?
I would like to see sports become more accessible to regular fans again.
