Job Description:
As our Apparel Purchase Planner, you align territories against geographic buy strategy across Apparel. You'll align territories and execute against buy parameters - cancellations, minimums, purchase/futures ratio (fill rate), air freight, and blind buy percent. You'll drive territory buy alignment across apparel in an effort to drive purchase efficiency against minimums and reduce supply chain costs. Execute purchase orders and track POs through to consolidator. You'll coordinate with Merchandising Apparel Global Planning to align buy execution through communication/coordination of capacity constraints, product drops/adds, and buy alignment with other geographies.
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree and 2 + years' Forecasting or related experience (Buying, Planning, Merchandising)
2 additional years' work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
Strong computer skills including ability to use complex query tools and create reports with database and/or spreadsheet programs
Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain systems preferred
Industry knowledge and experience in Footwear or Apparel preferred
Knowledge of SAP, APO preferred
