Job Description:

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Entry level web-based editor for internet publishing and live streaming company with multiple high-level clients, located in Plainview, NY. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring live, professional sporting events while conducting commercial substitutions and editing in-game highlights. Further duties include:

o Monitoring audio and video feeds while communicating any issues to our production management team.
o Substituting live commercial breaks with internal slates in an accurate and timely manner.
o Editing various in-game highlights, as well as compiling specific highlight packages and whole-game archives for immediate internet publishing.
o Researching daily game notes that may offer implications to effectively edit highlights.

• This position is part-time and wages start at $10.00/hr with opportunity for advancement.

• This position will primarily be nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

• High level of communication, organization, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a high-demanding work environment.

• Strong PC based knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing and database skills.

• Some experience or knowledge in linear editing is a plus.

• General knowledge of all sports is preferred, but not necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree or seeking employment in related field is preferred.
