Facilities Engineer

As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the Resident Regional Director with organizing programs to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment and provide a safe, clean and efficient operation. You will do this through the appropriate utilization of resources and delegation of responsibility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the safety of all operating equipment within the facility
  • Develops training plans and supervise technicians work skills
  • Monitors all work orders to ensure accuracy, completion, timeliness, and client satisfaction
  • Handles the procurement of all repair parts for routine, preventative, and emergency repairs
  • Develops and/or maintains a preventative maintenance schedule for all buildings and equipment
  • Maintains the departmental budget with focus on parts, supplies and labor management
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering 
  • Good working knowledge all aspects of plant maintenance to include but not limited to; Electrical, Boilers, Hydraulics, Compressed Air, Mechanical Equipment
  • Must be capable of reading technical schematics and blue prints
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
