Prepare drafts of contracts, amendments and other legal documentation with golf course partners, vendors and strategic partners; assist with the review and revision of contracts, including the preparation of contract documents and amendments from templates.
Evaluate incoming contracts for accuracy and review contract language with attorneys as necessary.
Maintain a complete understanding of internal contract requirements to ensure that company business fundamentals are foundational and reflected in final agreements.
Determine the priorities, goals and objectives of contract requests received daily.
Review and analyze contracts, case and/or administrative files, and other documents to summarize, extract and/or digest information requested by attorneys in the Legal Department.
Coordinate with NBC Sport Groups Business & Legal Affairs department as needed to support the achievement of business goals.
Conduct legal research as needed.
Ability to draft high quality legal documents exercising independent judgment and discretion.
Experience as the principal person responsible for managing a high volume of information and multiple duties.
Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. law school.
Must have completed the second year of law school before beginning employment with NBCU.
This position requires excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently with little oversight and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
Serve as a primary point-person on a variety of contractual matters and comfortable interacting with individuals across the company.
Self-starter who is willing to ask for guidance where needed, follow-up when necessary, and suggest solutions to help resolve questions.
