Job Description:
QTV is the award-winning, in-house video production team providing the most dynamic and ground-breaking creative content to drive game presentation, marketing campaigns, web/digital video content, and team-driven initiatives for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Cavs Legion Gaming Club, Canton Charge, Cleveland Gladiators, and other key properties and projects associated with Quicken Loans Arena. We are looking for a mid to senior level editor/motion graphic designer with a marketing background to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in timing, composition, design, pacing, color, lighting, camera operation, and exhibits a passion for entertainment and sports. This position sits within the Cavalier’s marketing team, and works on a wide array of broadcast commercial projects—while also lending a hand to the QTV production team for in-arena content when called upon. Applicants must provide examples of video work and cover letter with their resume to be considered. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
VIDEO PRODUCTION · Designs motion graphic elements for marketing campaigns. Including, but not limited to: lower thirds, title and end cards, and motion-driven spots. · Video Edits from assembly to completion, while working in collaboration with Lead Producer of Marketing · Drives innovation for marketing projects and the game/team experience by concepting ideas and supporting a collaborative atmosphere that nurtures “green-light thinking.” · Shoots, produces, and assists with on-location productions with players, fans, and talent.
· Participates and brings ideas independently and during designated brainstorm sessions. · Works with teammates to ensure that content is completed on time, at high quality, and meets brand standards. · Continually researches current equipment, software, pop-culture events, music, and trending topics. · Quickly executes ideas to action. · Steps in and performs tasks as requested. Exhibits team-player mentality.
Marketing · Marketing to promote tickets sales for Cavs, Monsters, and retail. · Understanding of importance of brand guidelines across TV, radio, print, and outdoor campaigns · Considers how to cross-promote all Quicken Loans Arena organizations across all events and platforms. · Contributes video and non-video related ideas to campaigns. Seeks new opportunities to market events at Quicken Loans Arena (i.e. social media, digital, non-traditional approaches.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES · Understands the NBA and AHL and provides creative ideas on how to integrate pop culture into Quicken Loans Arena events. · Contributes new perspectives and ideas on how to improve QTV. This includes organization, video production, storage, efficient management of time and any other areas that can be improved. · Acts as game night producer/game night assistant on designated event nights as requested. · Considers how to cross-promote all Quicken Loans Arena organizations across all events and platforms. · Provides creative production support for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Canton Charge, and other key properties and projects housed in Quicken Loans Arena. · Prioritizes a supportive role in the development of the QTV team. · Focuses on supporting the growth of quality, depth and capabilities of our production team, enhancing our creative capabilities and driving innovation. · Promotes the overall high expectation of quality for all QTV productions. · Participates in event/project feedback sessions. · Supports QTV teammates and senior producers by assuming tasks to help them complete any and all projects. Assumes additional responsibilities to ensure successful management of QTV resources.
