Job Description:

Job Duties

• Directly responsible for design and implementation of various modules of the GolfNow platform
• Lead the consolidation of acquired golf commerce platforms into the GolfNow platform
• Provide knowledge leadership in key areas of the GolfNow platform
• Deliver software on time and to specification, with minimal supervision
• Work directly with business and technology leadership to manage end user expectations and gain user acceptance of all project deliverables
• Participate in code walkthroughs as needed to ensure quality and security
• Write uses cases, requirement specifications, system documentation, and other project deliverables
• Build software prototypes and develop highly scalable and secure web services and applications to support business requirements
• Create automated unit test cases and test data
• Test and debug code
• Build trust and cooperation between IT, internal clients, and external vendors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications


• 5 years of technical expertise including recent experience architecting, designing and developing a high-performance e-commerce platforms using .NET (C#), ASP, ASP.NET and Windows stack.
• 3 years of experience with MS SQL Server.
• 2 years experience gathering requirements using OO analysis techniques and tools
• Deep understanding of service oriented architectures
• Experience in modern Agile Methodologies (SCRUM and or Extreme) is a plus.
• Experience tuning and optimizing web services that are consumed by diverse technologies
• Deep experience with technologies and patterns such as REST,SOAP,WCF,etc
• Understanding of data modeling and SQL
• Experience in a collaborative, team-driven software engineering environment.
• Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience in large scale, million users+ systems
• Understanding of micro-service architectures and related patterns
• Knowledge of e-commerce business models
• Passion for Golf
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
