PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 24 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Responsible for transmission coordination and check-in for various sporting events based off companywide scheduling system
Monitors and troubleshoots on-air video and audio signals, satellite transmissions and multiplexed signals for multiple broadcast streams.
Interfaces with the Operations and Production departments to ensure all their transmission and routing needs are being met.
Interacts with transmission carriers to resolve issues, escalations, maintenance, and overall performance.
Assist in establishing standard operation procedures for all transmission technologies activities which include: audio/video and communications check-in and QC process for remotes, outgoing transmission activity, and ingest.
Provides quality control and support to all departments in need of feeds assistance.
Partner with engineering to troubleshoot potential problems.
Assist in equipment testing and configuration as needed. Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications
Minimum one (1) years broadcast / operations experience.
Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
