Responsible for sales revenue and local sales staff to ensure all financial goals are being met while developing and maintaining relationships with clients and ad agencies.
Assists GSM in establishing targeted financial budget and market share goals for local sales team
Monitors local sales activity on a weekly basis from internal sources.
Responsible for performance of local Account Executives; Tracking individual billing, share increases, and new business development.
Develop quality relationships with decision makers at every level of the client and prospects business.
Works on assisting in the development of individual accounts and new business.
Develops and monitors prospecting of major new business accounts with entire local sales team.
Plans and runs weekly sales meetings, updating team on inventory, programming opportunities, internal protocols and guidelines.
Responsible for training, evaluating, and hiring local sales staff. Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications/Requirements
Four years of experience in television sales.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing/communications or advertising, or equivalent related experience.

Ability to travel as required

Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
