ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Director of Strategic Planning is an integral part of GolfNow's Revenue Management team. The Senior Director leads a team that analyzes all revenue streams (trade, transaction, International, Plus, Ride, Toolkit, Sponsorships, etc.) at GolfNow, manages the revenue budgeting and planning process, oversees the revenue management system, and supports analyses for other business areas.
Oversee the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process across all revenue streams at GolfNow.
Communicate regularly with Finance and other leaders at GolfNow to monitor performance metrics and synthesize trends.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of GolfNow's scientific revenue management system.
Collaborate with the Data Analytics team and revenue managers for implementation and maintenance of GolfNow's scientific revenue management system.
Guide the Managers of Operations Research in the direction of business needs while they are modeling the revenue management algorithms and performing analyses.
Support Sales, Marketing, Call Center, and Revenue leaders through ad hoc analyses to bring insights into the KPIs, ROI, what-if scenarios for a variety of day-to-day operations, new programs, policy changes, tracking to goals, identifying opportunities, etc.
Manage a team of 2 Managers of Operations Research, a Director, and 4 Analysts.
Create presentations summarizing GolfNow's performance to Senior Management. Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications
MBA degree in Business, Decision Sciences, Finance, or MS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related field
A minimum of 8+ years of planning & analysis experience, preferably applied to revenue management
A minimum of 5 years of people management experience
A minimum of 5 years of project and cross-departmental management experience
Strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to work through complex problems.
Advanced skills in Excel and also in a reporting tool like Business Objects, Tableau, etc., preferably in SQL
