Job Description:

ResponsibilitiesRole PurposeThis position is part of the core video editorial team, reporting to the NBCSports.com Director of Original Content & Programming. The role includes day-to-day technical and creative proficiency to edit and produce sports-related content for NBC Sports digital platforms in a time sensitive environment.Responsibilities
  • Produce and edit sports-related content for NBC Sports digital platforms, including but not limited to: daily on demand shows, daily and weekly features, highlight packages, sales and marketing support material, etc.
  • Manipulate and handle graphics in Avid.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the team and larger digital and linear production groups
  • Take creative direction as well as help to provide new approaches to the editorial process
  • Strong aesthetic and editorial ability
  • Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years' work in experience in television production
  • At least one (1) years' experience in digital media production
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience with multi-camera studio setup and/or live television production, including internships
  • Expert in Avid environment, Edit while capture, and interplay
  • Solid experience with 3rd party plug ins (e.g. Saphire, Boris, etc.)
  • Creatively proficient in Photoshop
  • Strong knowledge of external client delivery platformsEligibility Requirements

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
  • Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Strong knowledge of professional and college sports, athletes, teams, etc.
