Job Description:


The Coordinator, Games Event Management will assist the Director, Games Event Management with NBC Olympics activities related to Accreditation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan in 2020 and Beijing, China in 2022.The position will assist the Accreditation function by facilitating the approval, distribution and administrative tasks of NBC Olympic credentials for the Olympic Games.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated end date of mid-March 2022; unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed

  • Assist in the review of credential materials such as photos and passports
  • Coordinate set-up and printing of NBC IDs
  • Utilize the NBC Sports management system
  • Liaise with various internal NBC departments and facilitate in the overall accreditation submission process
  • Assist in any on-site distribution of credentials at the NBC office in the Main Accreditation Center (MAC)and International Broadcast Center (IBC)
  • Provide support in daily access issues (including guest passes etc.)
  • Assist in the management and distribution of event tickets
  • Other administrative tasks in the Games Event Management office at the International Broadcast Center (IBC)


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of project management, preferably in the area of Accreditation and/or special events
  • Willingness to work weekends and long hours; extensive time and travel to Olympic cities
