Job Description:

Responsibilities

Software Engineer I is responsible for Test Automation and continuous test integration various GolfNow.com applications and subsystems.

Job Duties

  • Automate test cases using open source and in-house tools and technology

  • Participating in software design and architectural discussion

  • Being capable of building, deploying and managing own test and product environment

  • Help build, maintain and improve our proprietary test automation tools

  • Automate Software APIs and Service Tests

  • Automate Web User interfaces using Selenium or similar tools

  • Automate Mobile Apps using Appium or similar tools

  • Help build and maintain Continuous Integration Pipeline.

  • Perform software quality engineering, including black box testing, white box testing, user acceptance

    testing, and maintenance regression testing

  • Develop and document test scripts, test cases, defect tracking and reports

  • Detect, document, and track system defects throughout the SQA process

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Computer Science degree or equivalent
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js), C# or Java


    Additional Job Requirements
  • Proficient SQL(MS SQL Server, Oracle) or NOSQL (Mongo DB) knowledge
  • Experience with software development tools like git, JIRA
  • Experience with either development or test automation of APIs
  • Experience with Web User Interface Automation using tools like Selenium
  • Experience with Mobile App Automation using tools Appium, Xamarin
  • Be curious about how things work and love breaking things
  • Good Team Player
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Be excited about automation and building tools to help do your job and help the rest of the team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
