Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Assistant to VP of Sales and Sales Support and Events Manager
  • Order entry for HTS, as well as provide back up for NBC order entry.
  • Manage sponsorship operations as far as sponsorship execution, updating sponsor charts, following up on creative assets, and communicating details to studio producers and live events crew.
  • Assist with sales internship program, reports, airchecks, and helps backup national sales assistants when needed
  • Help host game days
  • Attend programming content meetings, as needed
  • Schedule agendas, events, invitations and travel
  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of promotional material following up through traffic and promotions department
  • Ensure client-related promotions are executed
  • Develop positive client relations by proactively contacting client base via phone calls, emails, event visits, and other communication initiatives
  • Assist Account Executives in utilizing the database for tracking opportunities and proposals
  • Attend weekly sales meetings, take notes and execute any necessary follow-up
  • Reserve the conference rooms, prepare and welcome visitors, and coordinate suite catering
  • Work with sales team, research department, and marketing liaison on sales research data
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications, especially excel
  • Experience with Outlook, One Note, and Office 365 preferred
  • Media Sales, broadcast industry, or internship experience preferred
  • Proven strong project management skills including organization and attention to details in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Proven strong time-management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
