Purpose

Manage and pro-actively drive assigned event projects. Develop solutions to ensure industry leading event experiences that set the standards for the image of the brand.

Key Accountabilities

• In cooperation with the team lead steer, plan and execute strategic projects by using an integrated, holistic and long-term event marketing approach.
• Help close the gap between B2B and B2C events.
• Develop creative ideas, concepts and strategies that fulfil department purpose.
• Direct and motivate event staff (internal and external) to create high level of innovative and inspirational event solutions that meet business objectives and deliver a return of investment.
• Ensure rigorous and competitive pricing from agencies and vendors.
• Plan and manage project budgets within the given targets.
• Independently lead assigned projects while making sure that team lead is updated at all times and execution is fully aligned with brand strategy and visual/verbal identity.
• Ensure that overall project targets are met.
• Fulfil objectives of briefs, taking into consideration the short, medium and long-term company and business objectives.
• Build the brand and the business of the brand.
• Coach and mentor team members on development of leading alignment and Identity compliance
• Staff most suitable persons in direct report position(s) in alignment with team lead.
• Set individual objectives, targets and guidelines for direct reports.

Knowledge, Experienca and Capabilities

• IT skills: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel: expert. SketchUp: advanced
• Hardware: Macintosh products
• Language:
• English: excellent
• German: excellent
• Strong abilities in organization, time and budget management.
• Detail-oriented with ability to synthesize small details into big pictures.
• Strong eye for creative results within brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (FOS, Abitur).
• Minimum 8 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Creative and/or event education/experience.
• Proven track record in event management.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and direct external partners to achieve strong results.
• Strong eye for architectural / 3-D space.
• Experiences in installations, exhibitions, interior design or merchandising.
• Marketing/Communication/Design/Event experiences are an advantage.
• Passion for adidas and it΄s mission.
• Passion for sports and fashion.
