Job Description:

Summary: The Director of Club Services for Corporate Sales/Sponsorships provides an opportunity of leadership and guidance for each of the USL clubs corporate sales departments in selling and maintaining corporate partnership relationships through league-wide conference calls, team specific 1 on 1 phone calls, league and experiential best practice sharing, corporate sales planning with each of the clubs, as well as new ideas/opportunities to help USL clubs continue to grow in corporate sales. Along with continuing to help to grow each of the USL clubs’ sponsorship revenue and department from a league level, the league is also looking for this position to collect and analyze club data and inventory for each of the teams. This position will also be responsible for enforcing the USL Commercial Guidelines with each of USL clubs’ corporate sales departments.

Reports To: The USL Director of Corporate Sales Club Services will report directly to the Vice President of Club Services

Duties and Responsibilities

•Create and implement a short and long term plan on how to continue to increase corporate sales for USL clubs through current practices put in place by club services and new potential practices
•Weekly contact with USL clubs through E-mails to continue to keep clubs informed on league information and collecting information from USL teams
•Bi-Monthly conference calls with USL clubs to speak to corporate specific topics and areas to increase efficiency and share best practices
•Monthly 1 on 1 calls with each of the clubs’ director of corporate sales to discuss specific areas of success and challenges in specific areas of the corporate sales business
•Corporate sales club data collection and analyzation of partners, revenue generation, inventory, categories, etc.
•Collection and analyzation of each USL club’s sales plans
•Generate new opportunities and ideas for the USL teams through best practices shared throughout the corporate sales sports industry
•On-site visits with USL clubs to increase league relationship and help to increase efficiency and revenue generation
•Creating platforms and activations for clubs to be able to collect information from USL clubs
•Work with the VP of Club Services to increase value of USL Corporate Sales portion of Sales & Operation Summit

Qualifications and Requirements

•Four-year college degree required
•Minimum of five (5) years related sales experience preferred
•Minimum of three (3) year of senior management experience preferred
•Proven successful sales experience in corporate sales
•Consistent track record of success with selling and managing corporate partners
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at one time
•Strong work ethic
•Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
