Job Description:


MLB Advanced Media, an award-winning technology solutions provider delivering world-class digital experiences, is looking for an Associate Product Manager, Advertising Technology to join our team. More about you:
  • Bachelor's Degree with prior product management experience (at least 1-3 years in PM, 3+ years total) preferably in advertising technology company
  • Experience in development, or advanced usage of video advertising technologies, preferably focused on LIVE Streaming or long form VOD
  • Experience working with engineering teams using Agile / Scrum software development & other common engineering best practices
  • Foundational understanding of the latest digital video standards of VAST, VPAID and RTB protocols
  • Exposure to the growing trends and use of data driven advertising and data management platforms
  • Prior experience in supporting and working with advertising sales and ad ops organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as collaborative skills
  • Ability to successfully address complicated and challenging problem sets
  • Self-driven, motivated, and ability to drive objectives forward and see projects and initiatives through to completion
  • Ability to learn new problems sets quickly and experience applying creative problem solutions
  • Excellent at project management and multitasking across concurrent projects to deliver on project goal
  • Experience identifying critical issues or roadblocks as well as communication of status out to various stakeholders
  • Proficient at creating and managing product and project documentation, including additional information gathering or publishing

What will be asked of you:
  • Execute on deliverables for partner requirements and requests
  • Assist in roadmap definition and prioritization of advertising features and product needs based on partner input
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product Leads, Designers, Analytics, Ad Sales and Ad Operational groups to achieve advertising objectives
  • Provide status updates, communication including coordination on all advertising related efforts
  • Work closely with technical product managers and program management to deliver advertising objectives
  • Manage tickets, tasks and deliverables specific to partner or advertising effort
  • Maintain documentation on internal wiki pages, including communication out to all necessary parties
  • Support all partner or platform specific advertising related initiatives and efforts
