Job Description:

The San Jose Earthquakes are currently seeking a Coordinator, Team Administrator for Soccer Operations. The Coordinator, Team Administratorís primary responsibilities will be to assist with day-to-day operations of the Soccer Operations department and activities, often involving the players and coaches.


∑ Prepare and plan all preseason and inseason travel (flights, hotels, transportation)

∑ Team meal coordination

∑ Assist in market relocation for incoming players

∑ Support foreign players and familiarize with the San Jose Bay Area

∑ Handle all immigration details for players and staff

∑ Act as visiting team liaison for all games at Avaya Stadium

∑ Plan and implement offseason scouting, trips, hotels, and transportation

∑ Serve as primary contact for MLS players

∑ Manage and adhere to MLS Players Union rules and guidelines

∑ Ensure compliance to MLS League rules and agreements

∑ Other duties outlind by the GM, TD, and Coaches

∑ Plan and organize hosted player combines

∑ Oversee and Assist TD with PDL U23 team

∑ Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

∑ Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and holidays

∑ Soccer knowledgeable

∑ Knowledge of MLS rules and regulations

∑ Candidate should have excellent written and verbal skills

∑ Must handle pressure well

∑ Self-motivated; team player with good work ethic and desire to learn

∑ BS with concentration in Sports Management related field

∑ Profiecent with Word, Excel, Powerpoint

∑ Bilingual a plus
