Job Description:

Perform the set-up, tear down, and maintenance of the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center (CSOTC) Velodrome and sports venues, equipment, and meeting rooms in accordance with established policy referenced in the Venues Operations Policies and Procedures manual. Provide excellent customer service to all visitors and guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of all community programming requirements to include (80%):
o Pass records, financial reporting, and registration
o Social media and web updates
o Enforcement of safety policies and procedures by all athletes and patrons
• Perform the set-up, tear down, operation, and maintenance of the CSOTC Velodrome and all CSOTC sports venues, equipment and meeting rooms as outlined in the Venue Operations Policies and Procedures manual. (10%)
• Exhibit friendly customer service to all users. Enforce all Venues Operations policies, rules, and operating procedures. Communicate clearly and thoroughly with Venues Operations Teammates via daily shift reports, phone calls, and meetings.
• Act as a first responder as needed by way of Red Cross certification in CPR and First Aid in emergency situations at any CSOTC venue. Act as a second responder to blood borne pathogen contamination. The USOC will train and pay for CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications.
• 5. Perform other duties as required or assigned. (10%)

Minimum Qualifications Required

Education:


• High school diploma, vocational training or equivalent experience

Licensure & Certification:

• Valid driver’s license
• Fork lift/pallet jack operator’s license/certification (or ability to get upon hire)
• CPR and First Aid Certification and Blood Borne Pathogens Certification (or ability to get upon hire)

Prefer to have one or more of the following or equivalent experience:

• USA Cycling (USAC) Bicycle mechanic certification

Experience:

• Experience in disciplines of cycling – track preferred but not required
• Experience or willingness to learn about athletic equipment set-up, dismantling, and movement, including national and international specifications
• Experience or willingness to learn about computer operation

Skills:

• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to travel, as required
