Job Description:

Director of Sales - Roxy Key Accounts

This position is responsible for managing and leading a team of Account Managers for national key accounts. The position requires the ability to forecast, set sales and profit goals, and to drive product initiatives for key accounts. The position is responsible for the management and execution of a high level brand presentation for Roxy Apparel and Footwear. This position requires interfacing between Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance departments to ensure maximum product fulfillment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee operations and duties of Key Account Managers for all distribution channels
Participate in pre-line and final meetings with product group and relay product needs for the channel
Interface with product managers regarding sales, product issues and opportunities for accounts in the channel
Performance reviews for Key Account Managers
Manage cancellation process, compliance issues, credit claims, shipping issues for key accounts
Develop Key Account Business Plan with product and marketing to obtain profitable growth
Assist product line managers (PLM) in developing a merchandising strategy
Maintaining existing retailer relationships while planning and opening new business
Develop effiecient and accurate forecasting process for key accounts
Coordinate and conduct annual business review process with key accounts
Interface with Customer Service to enhance level of service to key accounts
Develop top down sales goals seasonally, qtrly and annually
Assist in annual budget process to ensure maximum gross profit
Assist with development of Marketing Development Funds, account initiatives, events and promotional activities
Insure flow of required reports, calendars, and requested projects
Lead preline process with retailers
Help coordinator for regional trade shows
Regular travel to accounts, trade shows, and sales meetings
Participate in buy meetings and assist in managing inventory levels and ATS
Manage order file to ensure maximum product fulfillment
Ability to forecast a 3-5 year Business Plan
Travel required

Required Experience:

5+ Years Sales Management with expertise in leading a successful team
Possess strong retailer relationships with key accounts
Extensive Knowledge of the apparel and footwear business and the Action Sports Marketplace
Maintain high profile communication skills and must possess the ability to present clearly and effectively
Must be able to establish short and long term strategies for the channels that both mirror and lead the Quiksilver brands corporate direction
Ability to segment sales force and hire new sales reps when necessary
Ability to challenge and motive sales team to perform at a high level
Ability to set budgets, manage expenses, and plan for profitable
