EXOS has brought their high level performance system and has partnered with the top Health Systems throughout the country to bring you the best of performance and medicine under one roof. Each of these facilities act as extension of the health system they are a part of by offering sports performance and rehab programs for community athletes. Facilities service a wide range of clientele, from general population, youth, high school, collegiate, tactical, and pro/elite individuals. This continuum of care model also includes our “Return to Play” or bridge program for athletes transitioning back onto the field from rehab.
EXOS Internship Overview:
Our Performance System helps individuals exceed their potential at every level – from Mindset, Movement, Nutrition, and Recovery. Our goal is to upgrade lives in every way we can. We are looking for passionate individuals who bring exceptional work ethic, integrity, and enthusiasm to our team. Our goal is to expose you to the different philosophies and tools we use to upgrade lives. You will gain insight into our system, and the methodology we use each and every day to improve performance. The EXOS Internship offers a full education curriculum on a weekly basis. These sessions will include practical, lecture, and question and answer components. The education gathered will provide any young and aspiring coach the tools necessary to become a high quality strength and conditioning professional. Interns will also have access to the XPS to become EXOS Performance Specialist certified.
Hours: This is a full time, unpaid, academic internship. Interns should expect to work 40hr/wk. Interns must obtaining relevant educational credit to qualify for this internship.
Term: May 22-August 18
This internship is UNPAID and requires proof of current enrollment in an internship program for relevant course credit.
Daily duties and responsibilities include:
-Facility and weight room maintenance
-Equipment set-up and break down
-Session observation, coaching opportunities
-Educational lectures, workshops, and practicals – on our performance systems
-Assistance for the Performance Specialists as needed with various aspects of training and testing, and much more.

Accepted applicants will be notified upon approval. Housing is not provided at any location. Food is available for purchase on-site at the Arizona facility only.
-Must be concurrently enrolled in a college degree program within exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, biomechanics or a related field.
-Must obtain college credit for the internship.
-Must be able to dedicate 40hrs/wk to the internship.
-Must be able to attend the entire internship- May 22-August 25th
-Proficient with Anatomy
-Computer Literate-Word and Excel
-Excellent communications skills
-Attention to Detail
-Certified in First Aid/CPR for the duration of the internship term
