ECNL Program Coordinator
Location: Orlando, FL

Position Summary: Elite Club National League (ECNL) is the highest level of play for girls and boys in the United States. As Central Florida’s leading program for developing players, the Program Coordinator coaches youth players, developing the curriculum, and assists in scouting and recruiting talented players for the ECNL program within guidelines established by Orlando City Soccer Club, ECNL and US Soccer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Assist in planning and organization of ECNL team tryouts.
•Assist with college placement and meetings.
•Follow the curriculum and sessions set by Technical Director.
•Abide by all guidelines and develop training programs for weekly training sessions for team.
•Coach games both at home and away on a weekly basis.
•Maintain highest standards of player/coach conduct during games, showcases & tournaments.
•Provide player assessment and feedback on a scheduled basis throughout the year.
•Responsible for coordinating and managing ECNL travel arrangements.
•Coordinate home game day operations.
•Scout and recruit talented potential ECNL players.
•Maintain a schedule of matches to attend.
•Maintain a positive and transparent image as an Orlando City representative.
•Attend scouting meetings and classroom sessions.
•Attend training sessions to observe current players.
•During the ECNL off season, work with junior academy to develop future ECNL players.
•Extensive experience working in soccer at regional league level and higher and/or collegiate levels.
•Possess USSF “A” or “B” license or equivalent. Preferably passed within past 3 years.
•Knowledge of ECNL structure, guidelines and responsibilities.
•Proven experience and success in collegiate recruiting and understanding of youth to college pathway.
•Demonstrated ability to teach techniques, tactics, physical and psychological components of soccer.
•Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate and educate youth players and coaches.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Embrace change and adopt Orlando City style and philosophy and ensure coaches follow curriculum.
•Strong organizational and personnel management skills.
•Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
•Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task effectively.
•Knowledge of professional sports team operations, public relations, and/or sponsor relations preferred.
•Degree from accredited university in a physical education, natural science or sport management field preferred.
•Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
