Job Description:

As part of the Burton Canadian Sales team, you’ll be harnessing this enthusiasm and excitement to build and maintain the best possible relationships with our riders and customers.Burton Snowboards is looking for a dynamic, Sales Manager for Softgoods based in Montreal QC. In this role, you will be responsible for sales performance, key account showings, general sales management duties, distribution strategies & planning for Burton Softgoods in Canada.

What You Get To Do:

• Maximize Softgoods revenues in Burton’s top accounts.
• Establishing regional sales goals and managing sales performance throughout the fiscal year for all order types.
• Develop and implement sales programs for the Full Service and Field accounts.
• Manage sales strategies in conjunction with both current and prospective new business opportunities.
• Analyze and maintain regional marketplace sales trends and sell-thru performances - communicate as necessary to sales force, product and marketing.
• Work with the Canadian merchandiser to build and update forecasts for all product/style/colors within the designated categories
• Managing inventory levels to achieve product scarcity in key seasonal products as well as maintaining strategic inventory levels to supply seasonal reorder and sell-thru demands.
• Co-development of product merchandising strategies with Retail Marketing as well as build quarterly briefs to help the product team understand the Canadian market needs.
• Co-development of product pricing incorporating factors in the marketplace in conjunction with achieving internal margin goals.
• Attend key account previews and presentations, trade shows, regional events, and regular territory visits.
• Management and development of all Sales Services functions including sales meeting development/execution, clinic & education platforms, clinic tools, rep sample and demo order management, super clinics as well as Internet Agreement development, execution and policing.
