Special Markets Representative (OGIO)

The primary channels will be for the High School Program and College Programs throughout the US, primarily for the OGIO brand of products.

The responsibility of a Special Markets Representative is to support planned business growth in assigned business channels for Callaway Golf. The primary channel will be for the High School Program throughout the US, primarily for the OGIO brand of products. The Special Markets Representative will be the single point of contact in Carlsbad for all daily Customer transactions and issues. They will support working relationships with all levels of Customer’s staff and use information provided by our reporting team to assist in developing selling/service strategies for each account. A Special Markets Representative will work with Green Grass Sales Initiatives team to identify revenue opportunities and support other strategic initiatives and partner with Marketing to achieve revenue goals.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets and grow your business channel
• Work with Sales Management to achieve revenue plan through strategic sales plan and excellent service to customers
• Generate new business and manage accounts for ongoing business partnerships
• Oversee execution of orders
• Identify new opportunities in the marketplace
• Maintain outgoing phone call rotation plan
• Report revenue plan to departments for planning purposes
• Visit customers and/or trade shows as required
• Product presentations as needed
• Other projects as assigned

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Successful sales aptitude.
• High-energy individual with strong multi-tasking and relationship building skills.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Sales Operations and Retail performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of internal processes and policies.
• Highly assessed communication skills.
• High volume call center
• Expertise with all Callaway Golf IT/Order Management/Software productivity platforms

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of selling experience
• Golf bag industry knowledge preferred
