Job Description:

Chill Director of Development

Are you a professional fundraiser with a passion for youth development? Do you have annual fund, grant writing, and event planning experience? Can you effectively communicate your passion for Chill’s mission to donors, partners, and other internal and external stakeholders? Do you have experience working remotely? If you answered yes to all of the above, then we want to talk to you about becoming Chill’s next Director of Development.

This is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Vice President of Development & Marketing. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial and communication skills, and a high degree of accountability. Candidates will preferably live in close proximity to a Chill program location.

What You Get to Do:

The Director of Development works closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Development on developing and implementing fundraising strategies that will continue to grow the organization.
• Day to day oversight and management of all development activities and staff
• Oversee and execute Chill’s Annual Fund program including holiday solicitation mailing and online campaigns
• Oversee and execute national and local events, including Chill’s Annual Golf Tournament, Dog Event, Recognition Event, US Open Fundraiser, and more
• Oversee grant writing initiatives with a goal towards growing the success of the program year-over-year

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least five years’ experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable track record of fundraising successes
• Track record of bringing innovative creative thinking and fresh ideas to a non-profit organization
• Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a close-knit team
