Job Description:

The University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a Development Associate assisting Blazer Boosters. This is a 10-month appointment with approximate compensation of $2,000 per month paid hourly through bi-weekly payroll. Duties include daily gift processing, assisting with gift records by updating donor database, coordinating gift acknowledgements and preparing weekly reports. Other duties include producing the content for the branding and messaging of Blazer Boosters, daily inner office responsibilities, and assisting with game day operations and special events.

Minimum requirements include a bachelorís degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Administration or a related field and previous related experience. Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external constituents. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Candidate must also possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
