Job Description:

James Madison University, a Division I Member of the NCAA and Colonial Athletic Association, is seeking an Athletic Ticket Office Assistant. The position will run from approximately June 15, 2017 - April 30, 2018 with a possibility of renewal for the 2018-19 academic year based on performance.

Duties include but are not limited to assisting the Athletic Ticket Office staff with coverage of ticketing three Division I sports; assisting with football, men's basketball, women's basketball, post season play, and other special events; and ensuring compliance with all relevant institutional, CAA, NCAA rules.

Interested applicants must have some experience (undergraduate placement considered) in an intercollegiate or professional sports team's ticket office or related field, student assistant or internship experience is acceptable. Applicants must possess good customer service skills, good writing skills and editing ability. Graphic design skills is a plus. Applicants must also be highly motivated, energetic and be able to manage a work schedule that includes nights and weekend work. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
