Job Description:

Under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations, with additional direction from Associate/Assistant Ticket Directors the Ticket Office Assistant Ė Interns will assist with all areas related to the daily and game day ticket operations of the Athletic Ticket Office. Duties include managing ticket sales and operations for all ticketed events. In addition, this position will support call center operations, e-mail correspondence, student staff supervision and other duties as assigned.

-Assist with football ticket sales and operations as assigned. Duties are distributed amongst all ATO interns . -Assist with ticket sales and operations as assigned for menís basketball, menís hockey, volleyball & womenís basketball, and/or womenís hockey & special events. Duties are distributed amongst all ATO interns. -Manage ticket sales and operations as assigned for menís soccer, womenís soccer, wrestling and/or softball. Duties are distributed amongst all ATO interns. -Other duties as assigned.


-Quantitative research and analysis methods
-Knowledge of NCAA and B1G rules and regulations
-Effective decision making skills
-Program planning and the ability to identify and develop alternative courses of action
-Knowledge of public relations and interpersonal relationship skills
-Knowledge of office management practices and procedures
-Knowledge of reimbursement and expense account processes and procedures
-Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and details efficiently, often with numerous interruptions
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Project management methods
-The work environment requires that the incumbent communicate courteously, following customer service standards to customers and co-workers under stressful circumstance. The work must be performed within time constraints, meeting delivery schedules and internal deadlines
-Physical ability to type at a keyboard and use a computer terminal for up to two hours at a time, several times a day.
