Job Summary

Senior credit adjudicator for Business Banking (including SBA) and Wealth Markets across the MUFG Union Bank footprint. Experience with traditional wholesale C&I transactions and retail-treatment transactions required. Awareness of liquid-secured lending, aircraft lending and individual lending in Wealth venue necessary. Experience with all forms of C&I lending to businesses up to $50 million in revenue required. Small Business Administration programs (or willingness to acquire expertise) strongly recommended as is an understanding of credit risk in the very small business spectrum (less than $10 million in revenue). Exercise independent credit authority to achieve a safe and sound commercial loan portfolio within the Bank's risk appetite throughout the credit cycle. The role requires an individual with the ability to develop creative solutions and drive options that satisfy the client while remaining within portfolio risk parameters.

Requires highly effective risk management, analytic, structuring and negotiating skills coupled with highly effective interpersonal skills emphasizing communications and collaboration consistent with the Bank's Culture Principles. Transactions include credits of simple to high complexity ranging up to $50 million. Responsible for applying Americas Credit Policy, Procedures and Underwriting Guidelines and for granting appropriate and permissible exceptions thereto.

Requirements :
Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
15 years commercial credit administration, wealth or related experience required.
10 years Small Business Administration (SBA) lending preferred.
Strong communication skills and collaborative personality
