Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations to help assist in the day-to-day operations of the Main Ticket Office.  This position is responsible for managing all operational areas of the Student Ticket Office (STO) as well as managing ticket operations for one or more assigned sports.

This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience can be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement
  • Two years of administrative experience
  • Two years of ticketing experience
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ticketing systems
  • Effective communications skills and customer service skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent thinker
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
  • Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletics environment
  • Previous experience with Ticketmaster/Archtics
