Head Women's Volleyball Coach

The Department of Athletics at Kutztown University invites applications for the position of Head Womens Volleyball Coach. Kutztown University is an NCAA Division II member institution which competes in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The Head Coach is responsible for all phases of the women's volleyball program including recruitment of prospective student-athletes, academic success of student-athletes, game preparation and strategy, supervision of assistant coaches, scheduling, organizing camps and clinics in support of Kutztown athletics, fund raising, adherence to NCAA rules and regulations, and general administrative duties. In addition, the Head Coach will be responsible for supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of the University and its Intercollegiate Athletics program as well as adherence to Departmental, University, Conference and NCAA policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• At least 3 years of coaching experience in the sport of volleyball

• Demonstrate ability in skill development, staff supervision, and general administrative duties

• An understanding of NCAA rules compliance

• Prior successful experience in recruiting qualified student-athletes

• Fiscal management skills

• Excellent organizational and communications skills

• Candidate must complete a successful interview

Preferred Qualifications

• Coaching experience at the NCAA collegiate level

• Coaching experience at NCAA DII institution
