Position Summary:
- The Clinical Nutrition Manager plans, schedules, coordinates, and supervises the operations of the clinical nutrition staff. In addition, provides oversight to the diet office and room service call center operations.
- Primary responsibilities include assigning work to and supervising clinical dietitians; developing standards and monitoring of clinical dietetic performance; reviewing and updating policies and procedures; developing and monitoring performance improvement plans; implementing and maintaining cost control procedures; recruiting, hiring, and orienting staff; interacting with hospital management and professional staff; and maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice.
- Also provides support to patient services operations as needed.

Education/ Experience
- BS Degree in food services management, hospitality, nutrition and dietetics, or other related field. Masters Degree preferred.
- Supervisor/Managerial Experience: 3-5 years
- Function Specific Experience: 5 years
Licensure/Certifications:
- Required to obtain and maintain current Maryland Food Protection Manager Certificate and ServSafe Certification.
- Licensure as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist by the Maryland Board of Dietetic Practice is required.
- Specialized certification such as Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, or other nutrition specialty certification is also required.
Salary Range: Minimum $42.78/hour - Maximum $74.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
