Chevy Chase Club is a 126 year old, member-owned club with 2,400 member families. Total Club Revenue $29,000,000. Facilities include clubhouse including member dining and private function rooms, casual restaurant, an 18-hole golf course, outdoor and indoor tennis courts; paddle tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pools, duckpin bowling lanes, ice rink, and overnight guest rooms and nature trail. Chevy Chase Club is a traditional full service private country club open 365 days a year.

Chevy Chase Club is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Head Swim Coach for the 2025 summer season. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in leading a competitive and vibrant swim program, fostering skill development, teamwork, and a love for swimming in a positive and energetic environment.
Position Details
Position Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (Summer)
Start Date : June 1, 2025
Hour s: 40 hours per week
Compensation:
Salary: $7,500 - $9,000 for the season
Additional Earnings: 75% commission on lessons
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Swim Coach in planning and leading team practices, meets, and individual training sessions.
- Assist in developing strategies to enhance swimmers' skills and competitive performance.
- Utilize swim team and meet management software for scheduling and operations.
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture, ensuring all participants feel supported and encouraged.
- Collaborate with team members, parents, and club staff for a smooth and successful season.
- Uphold strong organizational and communication skills for managing team logistics.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven leadership experience and a strong background in swim coaching.
- Technical expertise in swimming techniques and team management.
- Proficiency with swim team and meet management software.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
