Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Alcohol Compliance Supervisor to join our team at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. In this role you will ensure all areas of operation are compliant
with state, federal, and local alcohol laws, along with company and unit-specific alcohol procedures.

What will you do?

  • Supervises the serving of alcohol by employees.
  • Assist employees with event day information and alcohol related issues if necessary.
  • Ensure employees serving alcohol are adhering to the alcohol service policy, ensuring responsible
    alcohol service.
  • Observe and document any alcohol-related issues to include proactive observations.
  • Alert management regarding any violations of the alcohol policy.
  • Conduct random identification checks of guests that appear under 40 years of age.
  • Answers questions and make recommendations regarding alcohol service.
  • Ensure all associates serving alcohol have signed an acknowledgment of the alcohol policy and have a
    valid serving permit prior to the beginning of work.
  • Conduct event day audits and submit detailed reports at the end of shift.
  • Assist with alcohol cut-off.
  • Enforce all departmental and organizational policies and procedures and report incidents.
  • Assists with fires, storms, floods, blizzards, evacuations, relocations, and other emergencies as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

More about you

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college.
  • Law enforcement, security, corrections experience preferred.
  • Good communication and guest service skills; ability to effectively communicate with guests and retain
    and communicate service information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
  • Ability to provide feedback and coaching to associates with varied experience levels.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Basic math skills: ability to accurately count inventory.
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and downstairs and lifting as the work duties demand
  • May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on the season
