EH&S Associate
Location: New Albany, OH
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EH&S Associate to support and enhance our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs in a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in executing key components of our industrial ergonomics program, conducting assessments, supporting regulatory compliance, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in workplace safety and health.
Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to the enhancement of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs.
Aid in the execution of new components within our industrial ergonomics program.
Support the Ergonomics program by conducting ergonomic assessments and training.
Assist in evaluating ergonomic risk factors and implementing control strategies.
Conduct data review and trend analysis.
Assist with EHS Administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of EHS experience, or an Associate degree with 6 years of EHS experience, or a High school diploma / GED with 8 years of EHS experience.
Degree concentrations in Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental and Occupational Health, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or Physical Therapy preferred.
Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment and managing industrial safety programs during new pharmaceutical facility start-up.
Proficiency in performing ergonomic risk assessments and managing emergency action plans and emergency response activities.
Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools and EHS regulations to ensure compliance with Corporate, Federal, State, and local requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
