About UsYouth Athletes United is on a mission to spark a lifelong love for physical activity and sports in every child.Through trusted brands like Super Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes, we deliver high-quality programming to kids across the countryahelping them build confidence, learn life skills, and develop healthy habits from their very first sports experience.With over 22 years of experience and the largest youth sports footprint in the U.S., we're excited to bring our programming to the Greater Fairfax region, and we're looking for a driven, adaptable leader to help us grow and thrive locally.About the RoleAs General Manager for the Greater Fairfax region, you'll oversee all aspects of our local youth sports operations.From business development and staff leadership to customer service and program oversight.This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, builds strong community relationships, and balances strategy with hands-on problem solving.You'll work closely with our directors and support staff, meet revenue goals, ensure operational efficiency, and actively represent our brand in the community.You'll also be a key partner in driving growth, with increasing responsibilities as the business scales.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Community EngagementIdentify and execute short- and long-term business development strategiesBuild and manage partnerships with schools, daycares, rec departments, and community centersMaintain a growing contact list and develop strong grassroots relationshipsRepresent the brand at events, school visits, and community functionConduct regular check-ins and drop-ins with school directorsaaim for at least bi-weekly visits to maintain relationships and gather program feedbackComplete RFPs and county/school forms as needed for program expansioSupport marketing efforts including outreach, social media presence, and promotionsTeam Leadership & ManagementLead a cross-functional team with clarity around roles, responsibilities, deadlines, and expectationsProvide delegation and coverage support to team members when neededConduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and address coaching or disciplinary needsOversee coach scheduling and placements in coordination with the support teamEnsure hours logged are aligned with meaningful work output; time tracking will be reviewed regularly for accuracy and accountabilitySet a regular schedule for visiting school directors for check-ins and drop-bysaaiming for at least bi-weekly in-person visits to maintain strong relationships and gather feedbackOperations & Program OversightEnsure timely class scheduling, facility bookings, and weather or scheduling communicationsMonitor program quality through class observations and coaching feedbackWork with executive leadership on admin and operational timelinesUphold brand standards across all programs and customer interactionsCustomer ExperienceMaintain clear and professional communication with families, staff, and partnersHandle escalated issues quickly and professionallyMaintain high satisfaction levels across customer touchpointsWork ExpectationsStaff are expected to work between 30a40 hours per weekHours logged must accurately reflect meaningful work output, with time reporting reviewed regularly for accountabilityRegular hours may include Saturday mornings (8 AMa1 PM) and occasional evening or event participation based on territory needsQualificationsYou'll thrive in this role if you:Are a confident leader who knows when to delegate and when to step inCan build systems and processes that support scalable growthCan manage a team while staying involved in daily operationsAre personable, energetic, and passionate about working with kids and familiesHave a growth mindset and strive for constant improvementMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceBackground check clearanceExperience in leadership and/or sales (volunteer experience counts!)Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)Saturday availability preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryPerformance-based bonus (profit sharing tied to revenue targets)Growth potential within a scaling organization, with performance-driven incentive opportunitiesReady to inspire the next generation of young athletes?
