Hoisington Girls Basketball is looking for a dedicated and growth-minded leader to build and strengthen the program. We are seeking a coach who is committed to developing student-athletes, establishing a strong culture, and creating a foundation for long-term success. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching the game, building relationships, and taking the program to the next level.

Duties of the position include (but are not limited to):

1. Teaching and modeling the Hoisington Athletic core values of commitment, effort, and teamwork.
2. Building a positive, accountable, and competitive program culture that emphasizes growth, discipline, and pride.
3. Coaching in a transformative manner that fosters strong relationships and supports student-athletes in their development both on and off the court.
4. Teaching basketball fundamentals, offensive and defensive systems, and strategies with an emphasis on skill development and understanding of the game.
5. Planning and implementing organized, purposeful practices focused on improving fundamentals, basketball IQ, and overall team development.
6. Demonstrating the ability to grow the high school program while collaborating with middle school and youth coaches to establish consistency and a clear developmental pathway.
7. Promoting and increasing participation in the program while helping build enthusiasm for girls basketball within the school and community.
8. Providing leadership, structure, and communication to the coaching staff while effectively utilizing assistant coaches.
9. Adhering to all policies and guidelines set forth by KSHSAA, USD #431 Hoisington, and Hoisington High School.
