KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Director Athletics, the position will discharge the following responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women's volleyball program, including scheduling, practices, competition coaching, recruiting, budgeting, fundraising, and team travel. Mentor and coach student-athletes, supporting skill development and an understanding of strategies necessary for competitive success. Maintain thorough knowledge of and comply with all applicable University, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Demonstrate a high level of motivation with strong interpersonal skills. Participate in committees and provide service to the Department, University, and Profession. This is a full-time, 10 month term appointed position. The start date will be negotiated with the final candidate and be no later than August 10, 2026. The salary range for this position is $52,000-$55,000, commensurate with experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education Demonstrated record of successful volleyball ability Demonstrated record of coaching and recruiting in the sport of volleyball Demonstrated willingness and ability, to travel and work a flexible schedule Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and work with student employees Demonstrated commitment to diversity and the needs of diverse faculty, staff, students, and the university community Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues for program growth and enhancement Valid driver's license and ability to pass LENS certification Possess current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications or ability to immediately obtain PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree Prior experience at the Division III level Interest in, and commitment to, community engagement
