Title: Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

Reports to: Head Women's Volleyball Coach
Summary/Objective
The assistant women's volleyball coach will support the head coach in recruitment, management, training and coaching of the women's volleyball team.
Essential Functions
- Support goals and objectives of the Athletics Program.
- Assist the Head Coach with organization of team equipment, practices, recruitment, team travel, fundraising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.
- Work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel.
- Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete.
- Coordinate practice, film, or training sessions with specific positional groups, redshirt players, or scout players, as assigned.
- Assist with prospective student-athlete recruitment, campus visits, prospect camps, and scouting.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and the like.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time, stipend position. Coach is expected to attend practices and games.
Travel
Travel may be required, including accompanying the team to both home and away competitions and participating in recruiting activities as part of coaching responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior coaching or competitive volleyball experience
