Qualifications:

Valid Coaching Certification

Demonstrated success in building a positive culture in an athletic program.

Successful Basketball coaching experience

Strong background in coaching student athletes while upholding the ideals of academic excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship.

Thorough command of Basketball coaching strategies and skills.

Working knowledge of athletic policies and procedures of the William S. Hart Union High School District, Foothill League and the CIF.

Demonstrated ability and willingness to work collaboratively and productively with other coaches and staff members.

Demonstrated outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

Effective communication skills

Professional demeanor when representing West Ranch High School and the William S. Hart Union High School District.

Ability to work collaboratively with the school Administration, Athletic Director and the Director of Student Activities to instill high standards and expectations for all student athletes.

Experience in working with budgets, booster organizations, inventory controls, and media representatives.

Willingness to take and pass all required courses and training sessions annually.

A teaching position is not available at this time.

Teachers who are employed at a different high school within the William S. Hart UHSD cannot be

considered as a candidate for this coaching position.
