Head Coach, Mens Golf

The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Head Coach of Mens Golf. North Alabama is an NCAA Division I member that successfully competes in the ASUN Conference. This position is responsible for all phases of the Mens Golf program including recruiting quality student-athletes, monitoring the academic success of student-athletes, game preparation and strategy, supervising assistant coaches, scheduling, attending meetings with alumni, enhancing public relations, organizing camps and clinics, fundraising, budget, adhering to NCAA and ASUN rules and regulations, and other general administrative duties. In addition, the Head Coach will be responsible for supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of both the University and its intercollegiate athletics program.

Minimum qualifications include: bachelors degree is required; masters degree is preferred; fundraising experience preferred; experience working in a leadership role in a collaborative environment is preferred; successful coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred; strong, working knowledge of the sports skills and training methods is required; preference is given to candidates with prior experience in recruiting, fiscal management skills, organizational skills, and communication skills; a current, valid drivers license in good standing is required; and a CPR certification, renewed annually, is required.
