Basic Function:

Representative Duties:
Assist with the daily operation of tennis camps and events. Could include, but not limited to, registration, check-in, coaching campers, as well as preparing and/or cleaning the facilities.

Knowledge Of:
Must have a basic knowledge of the fundamentals of tennis.

Ability To:
Must have the ability to work with kids from ages 5-18 as well as the parents. Must have the ability to make decisions on the fly.

Minimum Qualifications:
A competitive tournament or high school playing background or one year of coaching experience

Physical Abilities:
Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) and hear to exchange information; ability to walk, run, jump, stretch, stand, sit, bend, twist, use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; climb stairs, ropes or ladders; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision; ability to demonstrate proper techniques and skills needed for athletic participation; ability to maintain level of physical fitness to meet departmental standards.

Working Environment:
Fast paced working environment. Will be on feet most of the time.
