Advertised Job Summary
The Associate Head Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the management and administration of all activities related to the mens and womens swimming program per University and Department objectives and exercising direct supervision of the recruiting, training, and coaching of male and female swimming student-athletes. Will be required to assist in the direction and control of the program in accordance with NCAA , SEC and University rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Preferred Qualifications
Division I coaching experience preferred, experience implementing a successful recruiting plan strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Extensive and technical knowledge of the sport.
Ability to communicate effectively with recruits, students, parents, staff and members of the fan base and community.
