Job Duties:
1. Assist head coach in all phases of a competitive Division I lacrosse program, including on-field coaching, practice planning, and game-day execution.
2. Lead player development initiatives across all positions, with an emphasis on individual skill growth, positional understanding, and competitive readiness.
3. Own the opponent scouting process with experience breaking down film, preparing detailed scouting reports, and translating findings into actionable game plans for the coaching staff and players.
4. Manage the team's film exchange program, coordinate film sessions, and maintain organized, up-to-date video records throughout the season.
5. Take an active role in recruiting through identifying, evaluating, and building relationships with high-quality prospective student-athletes who fit the program's academic and athletic standards.
6. Oversee day-to-day program operations as assigned, including equipment, travel logistics, compliance logs, and communication with university staff.
7. Maintain full compliance with all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of collegiate women's lacrosse coaching experience, or equivalent collegiate playing experience; Division I experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and adjust seamlessly to changing daily demands without losing focus or attention to detail.
Proficiency with video platforms (Hudl, ScoreBreak, or similar), Teamworks and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Strong understanding of NCAA rules and the ability to proactively ensure compliance across all operational areas; familiarity with Big East Conference policies and procedures strongly preferred
