Job SummaryThe Programming Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all member programming across KAC. This role curates a dynamic calendar of events and activities that activate the clubs amenities, increase member engagement, and encourage broader use of the space. The Programming Manager works cross-functionally with department heads, reports directly to the GM, and plays a hands-on role in both planning and onsite execution.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute all member programming across the club.
- Build a balanced weekly, monthly, and seasonal programming calendar.
- Create programming around all club amenities, including tennis, pickleball, basketball, swim, fitness, spa / recovery, kids / family, social / lounge, dining.
- Develop and support recurring programs, one-time events, seasonal activations, clinics, leagues, tournaments, holiday events, and new-member introduction events.
- Coordinate cafe and food-and-beverage related programming with the broader club calendar.
- Work with department heads to align programming with operational needs, member demand, and space availability.
- Support event setup, event breakdown, and onsite execution.
- Write and send programming announcements and member communications.
- Track attendance, participation, and program performance.
- Evaluate which programs should continue, expand, or be discontinued based on member response and operational value.
The Programming Manager should create experiences for all member groups, including family-focused, adult-focused, and youth-focused programming. This role should help ensure there is something compelling happening across the club throughout the week, with special attention to events that increase engagement and make the best use of KACs amenities.
Leadership Responsibilities- Serve as a community-minded, hospitality-driven planner and operator.
- Work closely with department heads to build programs that fit the clubs rhythm and member culture.
- Be highly organized, proactive, and visible on-site during programs and events.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with the GM.
- Maintain a high standard of execution before, during, and after every event.
This role will support clinics, leagues, tournaments, social mixers, themed events, holiday programming, new-member events, and wellness events. The Programming Manager will also assist with setup and breakdown and help coordinate outside instructors, coaches, performers, or vendors with support from the GM.
Reporting StructureThe Programming Manager reports directly to the GM and works cross-functionally with department heads across the club. This is a coordinator / planner role with on-site execution responsibilities, not a department-head role.
ScheduleThis is a full-time role that includes both daytime and evening hours, plus weekends as needed. The Programming Manager is expected to be on-site for events and programming, and should be comfortable working in a live club environment where flexibility and responsiveness matter.
Qualifications- Experience in hospitality, private club, athletic club, event programming, or member services.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working across departments and on-site during events.
- Strong hospitality mindset with a community-driven approach.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and timelines at once.
- Prior member programming experience is not required, but strong execution and service instincts are essential.

Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 - $95,000.00)
