- Master's Degree
- Possess a valid, current NATA B.O.C. certification (in good standing)
- Possess an Ohio Athletic Trainers license (or eligible to obtain)
- Able to demonstrate excellent written skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver's license, maintains a low-risk driving record and is able to be insured by the university.
- Ability to work on weekends, evenings, holidays. Travel as needed.
- Ability to adjust schedules in a fast paced environment.
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
- Experience in a Division I, intercollegiate athletic training program
- Experience working as an athletic trainer
- Experience documenting and detailing medical assessments and evaluations
- Experience working with physicians and other medical professionals
- Possess CSCS certification
- Experienced and knowledgeable with NCAA Regulations and HIPPA
- Able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and experience managing multiple tasks
- Possess a knowledgeable and professional demeanor and is able to demonstrate excellent verbal, intercommunication and interaction skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a diverse student-athlete and staff population.
- Experience with electronic medical records (i.e. EPIC, SportsWare, etc)
