FCMS - Head Track Coach

POSITION: 19-20 FCMS Head Track Coach/Assistant High School

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Competitive Track and Field experience preferred

• Possess effective communication skills

• Ability to work afternoons and some weekends

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to shoulder height occasionally

• Teaching license or college degree preferred

REPORTS TO : Head High School Track Coach

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Stipend

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Comprehensive knowledge of the rules and fundamentals of track & field.

2. To model fundamental skills.
3. Develop and implement practice plans
4. To place a team on the field of competition.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Work collaboratively with other coaches & staff.

2. Follow district policies, rules and regulations.

3. Follows the direction of the head coach.

4. Maintain positive relations with students & parents.

5. Model proper dress, language, demeanor and student/teacher relations.
