Coaching Freshman Volleyball Head Coach

Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor

• Previous volleyball coaching and/or playing experience preferred
• Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, rules, techniques, and game strategy
• Ability to teach and develop student-athletes at the freshman level
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with varsity and junior varsity coaching staff
• Commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork, and student development
• Ability to supervise and motivate high school student-athletes
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Completion of required state athletic coaching certifications and background checks
• Experience working with adolescents in an educational or athletic setting preferred
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and officials
